At BRB Auto Services our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
The business has long been a part of the Layer Marney community. Owned by Kelly Nevins and her husband John, it’s their second garage, alongside Evans Motors in Colchester.
Both family-run garages are keen to do things differently to many others.
As a result, we don’t charge for diagnostics, ensure customers have a clear understanding about any work that's needed, and above all we provide quality workmanship at a fair price.

Our team
You can feel confident that our team will provide comprehensive, first-rate service and we will not make you feel silly for not understanding every detail of how your vehicle works – after all that’s our job!
Kelly
If you call BRB Autos the chances are you will speak to the owner, Kelly. She takes care of all our customer calls, making sure you’re clear about the work that’s needed and the various options on offer.
Kelly also has a second garage in Colchester, and the ethos of both is to treat customers fairly and honestly, offering a clear explanation of what work needs to be done and why.
Matt
When it comes to all the big jobs such as vehicle electrics or problems with the cambelt or clutch, Matt’s your man! Although skilled in the wide range of repairs and services we offer, these are his favourite parts of the job. Matt has been working as a mechanic for more than 20 years. In his spare time he is a member of the Essex 4x4 response and loves off roading.
Peter
Peter could well turn out to be your knight in shining armor as he’s usually the person behind the wheel of our roadside recovery vehicle. He also carries out collections if you need help getting your vehicle to us for repairs or servicing. In his free time, Peter loves repairing classic cars
